Let’s start with the most obvious…the accent. Lori was born in Canada, speaking with a soft accent that makes her voice a standout in any ceremony. She is told weekly by someone how much they looooove her accent!

Lori would describe herself as authentically friendly, with a calming demeanour, and a healthy sense of humour. She has innovative creativity, focused attention to detail, and unprecedented ability to connect with and truly comprehend the vision of her couples.

Her creativity in writing ceremonies capture her couple’s personalities and values brillantly. This is reflected in the time she spends understanding them. She has experience with sensitive issues and is willing to guide if required. She is refreshingly down to earth, and her love of travel fuels her soul almost as much as her British Shorthair cat Louie!

Lori has been event planning for the past decade. Before becoming a full time celebrant she managed international major event bids, a boutique tourism accommodation on Kangaroo Island, and consulted as a clinical naturopath maximising her clients well being and quality of life.

Lori’s background gives her a unique perspective on each ceremony she plans, and her attention to detail is meticulous.

Known for always going above and beyond, Lori does whatever it takes to ensure the creation of ceremony perfection for each of her couples.

Her abiding love of weddings and ceremonies, and connecting with people sets Lori apart.

Lori is a veteran of marriage and personally knows what a great marriage is really all about. She understands what is important in experiencing a long satisfying life together. Finding her Aussie soulmate in Canada under circumstances which were just meant to be, is her great love story.

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Lori can work with you and your partner to plan your ceremony, wherever your imagination takes you…with a few Australian legalities which must be met.

Lori is registered by the Commonwealth Government of Australia to legally conduct marriages anywhere in Australia, including Australian waters and Australian airspace.
